It's made from synthetic textiles that have a Polyurethane coating making it abrasion resistant and waterproof. The Microfibre tape pairs nicely with the leather Brooks. Brooks' Rubber tape will match up with your C17 dead on. The Rubber provides a solid grip and keeps your hands glued to the bar.
