These sample holders are designed to allow the user to take advantage of the benefits of side-loading on systems that reference the top surface of the sample holder. Some XRD syste ms use bearings or small tabs to align the sample holder to the plane of diffraction. The two-part design of these holders allows for a solid surface to be referenced by the diffractometer even while rotating. Custom well sizes are optional with the most common being 30mm diameter with a 1mm depth. Show more
