Almost identical in size and shape to its popular sister-squash 'Honeynut' — also developed by Michael — 'Brûlée' has paler skin (like a classic butternut), ripens earlier (great for northern growers), and is a superior keeper. These are adorable little personal-sized miniature butternuts, sure to be considered an heirloom one day.Our seed comes from our friends Dylan Bruce and Cody Egan of Driftless Seed Supply in Wisconsin.GROWING TIPS: Direct-sow once soil warms in spring, or start earlier and transplant around the time you plant corn or string beans.
