The Brunson 802 Series delivers high-precision lateral alignment solutions for metrology and field calibration applications. At the core is the 802 Precision Lateral Slide, offering 2″ (5 cm) of horizontal travel and smooth, accurate motion via precision roller bearings. This allows easy fine adjustment of plumbed instruments with minimal repositioning. For dual-axis alignment needs, the 802-3 Compound Slide stacks two 802 slides orthogonally, enabling 2″ of travel in both X and Y directions. Both models include a vertical sight aperture for plummet use and feature a standard 3½″-8 instrument thread on top for mounting. Slides in this series attach via a bottom dovetail interface, rotating 360° on compatible bases such as the Brunson 800 Lift or 235-16 adapter before being secured in place. The optional 802-S variant provides a 5/8″-11 threaded hole for fixture mounting but eliminates vertical sighting through the base. Effective height varies by model: 802 and 802-S measure 1.18″ (30 mm), while the compound 802-3 stands at 2.875″ (73 mm).
