The gold handle matches the overglazes to be used and prevents cross-con tamination of Gold and Silver overglaze. Mayco Overglaze brushes are handcrafted and manufactured with kiln-dried birch hardwood handles that have five hand-dipped coats of matte gold lacquer and sealer to resist moisture.
