Airlock Cleaning Brush for Fermentation Gear An airlock cleaning brush helps you scrub the narrow interior passages of fermentation airlocks where residue can collect after use. It is a small but useful tool for brewers, cidermakers, meadmakers, and winemakers who want to keep their fermentation gear cleaner between batches. Airlocks are easy to overlook during cleanup, but dried krausen, sanitizer residue, and fermentation deposits can be stubborn in tight spaces. A dedicated brush makes it easier to clean reusable airlocks thoroughly before sanitizing and setting up your next batch. Useful For Cleaning three-piece and S-style fermentation airlocks Scrubbing narrow passages that larger brushes cannot reach Removing dried krausen, sanitizer film, and fermentation residue Maintaining reusable airlocks between batches Use it alongside your regular equipment brushes and preferred cleaner or sanitizer to keep small fermentation parts in better shape. If you are refreshing your cleaning kit, related tools like our carboy brush and bottle brush can help cover the rest of your setup. Airlock Brush Cleaning Notes Use this brush to clean residue from compatible fermentation airlocks before sanitizing them. Cleaning comes before sanitizing; dried krausen or fruit residue can protect soil from sanitizer contact. Keep a small brush with your fermentation kit so airlocks are ready before brew day. NOTE: Brush bristle color may vary, generally available in white and/or black. Related supplies: cleaning and sanitizing, fermenters and accessories.
