Snap a level plumb line for your first panel. Peel 6–8 in of backing, align the top, and apply from the center outward. Smooth downward with a felt squeegee or soft cloth, peeling the backing as you go. Butt seams edge-to-edge; match the pattern without overlapping. Trim excess at ceiling, baseboards, and outlets with a new, sharp blade. To remove, peel slowly at a low angle (about 180°) from the top corner.
