Full Figures & Pedigree Brutus is the sire of many of the high priced lots at the May 2014 Birdies Dispersal Sale. The sale was topped at 16,800gns by the cow and calf outfit compr ising the 2007-born French cow Clochettte who was sold together with her very strong Brutus-sired heifer calf at foot, Birdies Isabeau (see PROGENY pic). Clochette went under the hammer back in calf again to Brutus. Brutus (Usty x Hirondelle) was originally purchased from Earl Lagautriere for £17,500 and will consistently breed correct, fast-growing calves with plenty of shape and muscle; daughters are very milky.
