BTT2CS Self-Closing Treacle Barrel Tap are suitable for use with highly viscous and thick, slow moving fluids. Made from cast iron. The BTT2CS is a premium tap that is lockable and can be fitted to drums that are in a horizontal position. The barrel tap, also known as plugless taps, has a 2 inch BSP and can be easily screwed into a barrel and tightened using a specialist drum tool (see related products). It also features brass seals. The self-closing tap can be operated by a single user, simply pull the lever up to open and let go to close it. The tap is intended for use with non-flammable liquids stored in or dispensed from non-pressurised containers at ambient room temperature.
