Unlike many generic nymphs, this fly is built to suggest motion, with soft hackle legs, a slim tapered body, and a slightly buggy profile that mimics the natural’s constant movement as it migrates toward the surface to hatch. It typically features mottled or speckled materials to match the distinct look of Callibaetis nymphs, along with a tail and thorax that give it a lifelike silhouette in the water.
