During all those years we have been making notebooks I have met numerous people that told me that they bought our notebook or got it from someone but...they are scared to write into it. They find it so compact and „beautiful“ that they approach it rather like an object than a notebook for writing. They have it displayed in their bookshelf or somewhere else visible and they don't want to „damage“ it by writing into them. Of course we are flattered by the fact that someone sees our work as some sort of art object but we are also bit sad that the notebook is not used in the way it is meant to be. There is a second category of people (I fall into it as well) that use the notebook for few days/weeks in a row but that there is a period of time when they don't write at all. During this time they have the notebook stored somewhere – bookshelf or it's just laying on the working desk or a bed table. So we came with the idea of making a frame for notebooks. You can place a notebook in this frame and hang it on the wall. So the notebook would always have it's place. Easy to find when you feel like writing. In the bottom and upper part of the frame there are little wooden pins holding the notebook in place. The pins can be easily removed when you want to také a notebook out of the frame. There is also one of our original print in the frame (the same design as on the notebook) so when you use the notebook there is not an empty frame hanging on the wall. Another positive thing is that even if you wouldn't have a use for the frame you can give it to someone else as a present. Frame: outer dimension 23 x 17 x 3,8 cm (light wood without finish) * Během doby, kdy vyrábíme deníky jsem potkal několik lidí, kteří mi řekli, že si pořídili náš deník nebo ho od někoho dostali, ale....bojí se do něj psát. Prý jim přijde natolik kompaktní a „hezký“, že k němu přistupují spíše jako k objektu než k zápisníku. Mají ho vystavený někde na polici nebo v knihovně a nechtějí ho psaním znehodnotit. Na jednu stranu nám moc lichotí, že někdo k našim produktům přistupuje téměř jako k uměleckému dílu a na druhou stranu nás mrzí, že deník není používán k tomu k čemu je určený. Pak je tady druhá kategorie lidí, do které i já sám spadám. Mám období, kdy si do deníku pravidelné píšu a pak mám třeba půlroční výpadek, kdy se mi psát nechce. V té době mám deník většinou v knihovně nebo se mi leží na stole. A tak nás napadlo, že by bylo fajn vytvořit závěsný rámeček, do kterého by se dal deník v době „psací abstinence“ umístit. Měl by tak své místo v bytě nebo pracovně. Člověk by věděl, kde přesně ho najít, když chce psát a navíc by byl pěknou dekorací na stěně. Ve spodní a horní části rámu jsou malé kolíky, který deník drží na místě. Ty se dají snadno odstranit, když chcete deník vyjmout. V rámečku je navíc umístěn i malý print, na kterém je stejný motiv jako na deníku. Takže pokud deník používáte na jeho místě na stěně nezůstane viset prázdný rám. Další plus je, že si prostě můžete pořídit deník s rámečkem a pokud nejste typ, který by rámeček využil, tak obrázkem můžete někoho obdarovat. A nebo proste sami využijete obojí.
