Bucephalandra theia 'Red' is the red form of the popular theia Bucephalandra, producing the same slightly wavy, textured leaves as standard theia but in a warm red to red-green ton e that provides strong colour contrast in aquascapes. The waviness of the leaves catches the light well and the red colouration stands out clearly against green plants on adjacent hardscape.Care is the same as all Buce: low light, attach to hardscape, no CO2 required but it deepens the red colouration. Slow growing and very low maintenance. Shrimp are active on the leaf surface as with all Bucephalandra.Attach the rhizome to wood or rock with thread or aquarium-safe superglue.
