The Buchanan is one of the brightest tartans in Scottish weaving — a gold-yellow ground carrying green, red and black at full saturation, a long way from its antique counterpart. W oven from 100% merino wool at the Abraham Moon & Sons mill in Guiseley, West Yorkshire, and finished with fringed ends. It measures 190 x 25cm, a long, narrow scarf that knots easily without bulk.
