Bucky’s Zebra Klinkhammer Dry Fly blends the deadly effectiveness of a Klinkhammer profile with the high-contrast appeal of a zebra midge style body, creating a pattern trout simply can’t ignore. Designed to fish in the surface film, this fly imitates emerging insects struggling to break free, making it especially effective during midge hatches. The parachute-style hackle keeps the fly riding upright with the abdomen hanging below the surface, triggering instinctive takes from selective fish feeding just under the film. Its bold, visible color pattern makes it easy for anglers to track in broken water and low-light conditions while still maintaining a natural silhouette from below. Whether you’re fishing slow seams, riffles, or tailouts, Bucky’s Zebra Klinkhammer is a versatile pattern that shines when trout are feeding on emergers but refusing fully floating dries. Key Features: Klinkhammer emerger profile with zebra-style body Rides in the surface film for realistic presentation Highly visible yet natural from below Excellent for midge hatches Effective in riffles, seams, and slick water Go-to pattern for selective, surface-feeding trout
