Buddleja 'Royal Red' is a generously-sized shrub with long, richly coloured flower panicles. Each panicle is tightly packed with small purple-red blooms throughout summer and complimented by slender green leaves. The flowers are beautifully scented and highly attractive to pollinators, particularly butterflies, which are drawn to Buddleja in abundance. With a spreading habit and arching branches, Buddleja 'Royal Red' will growing up to 4 x 4 metres. It's ideal towards the back of a mixed garden border or as a feature in it's own right. 'Royal Red' thrives in full sun and partial shade in either an exposed or sheltered environment. It is hardy and low maintenance, and can grow in a variety of moist but well-drained soils.
