White Oak Bark has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, and is known to soothe the pain and inflammation from bee stings and bug bites. When applied to the skin, it may also help speed up the healing process from minor wounds, cuts, scrapes, and burns. Mugwort is known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, making it beneficial for soothing irritated and sensitive skin. It can help calm irritation, redness, and itchiness caused by bug bites. Chaparral is known for its antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties, making it beneficial for rashes, bug bites, and minor burns. It is a desert shrub native to the American Southwest and northern Mexico, and has been used for generations in traditional herbal medicine. Chaparral is safe to use in balms and ointments, however similar to the herb comfrey, should not be taken internally.
