The 5 C's of Survival: Cutting:Fixed blade knives, multi-tools, axes, and saws all fall under this category. Combustion:Fire making tools and tinder. Cover:Tarps, ponchos, and tents. Container:Metal bottles are preferred in this category, but anything that is capable of purifying water is your friend. Cordage:Any type of heavy-duty or multi-purpose string.
