11.81 x 23.62 in. (30 x 60 cm) The Signed Prints series are some of my favorite paintings from the last few years, hand-numbered and signed by myself. "We all build our own masks. And tear them down. This one was originally done as a part of #inktober 2019, and the word of the day was “Build”. I remember pushing my inking skills really hard at that part of the challenge, and exploring things directly with ink that would previously have needed a lot sketching and pencilling, and this one was one of the most successful of those experiments. With time, it’s meaning has changed for me. And in hindsight it may have been an early sign of questioning whether my own mask was just something I used to hide my depressions, or to actually hide myself."
