There's something deeply satisfying about making your own chocolate bar — and this class makes it accessible, fun, and genuinely delicious. You'll decorate, mold, and fill three modern chocolate bars, each one uniquely yours. Class begins with a lesson on preparing your mold and painting with cocoa butter — the technique behind that glossy, professional finish you've admired in fine chocolate shops. We'll explore a variety of decorating styles so you can develop your own signature look. As we work, we'll talk through the basics of tempering chocolate and cocoa butter, giving you the foundation to keep experimenting at home. Once your bars are molded and filled with your choice from our selection of seasonal flavors, we'll step back and enjoy light refreshments and a sampling of craft chocolate while we wait for the magic to happen. Then comes the best part — the big reveal, as the molds open and your bars come to life. You'll leave with three beautifully packaged bars and the skills to make more. A few things to know before you arrive This class takes place in our production kitchen. Aprons and gloves are provided, but chocolate has a mind of its own — machine-washable clothing is recommended. Please secure loose hair and skip the strong scents, as they get in the way of tasting chocolate. Light refreshments are provided. Classes are fully refundable up to five days before the event. Cancellations after that point are eligible for a 50% in-store credit. A minimum of four participants is required to hold a class. In the event Tandem Chocolate Studio cancels a class, you will receive a full refund of your registration fee.
