A special knit blanket design that may look complex, yet it uses only 3 basic patterns, and 2 stitches (knit and purl). There is the stockinette pattern which is knit one row, purl one row. Reverse stockinette, which is purl one row, knit one row. And the seed stitch, which is a knit 1, purl 1 on one side, and purl 1, knit one on the reverse side. The pattern has both written instructions and a chart of the design. If you take your time, use a marker after each repeat, and mark the rows as you work them, you should be able to work this blanket with spectacular results.
