Building Blocks is a large-scale minimalist work exploring the relationship between form, texture, light and shadow. Acrylic and modelling medium (150x150cm) Using textured modelli ng medium, three-dimensional block-like forms are built up and arranged in an intentionally random, stacked composition. Each raised form catches the light differently, creating subtle shadows and shifting layers that give the work a sense of depth and dimension.
