Bulbophyllum is a genus of epiphytic orchid. The plants are typically small to medium creeping epiphytes, having a sympodial growth habit with prominent pseudobulbs and one or two fleshy leaves. There is a wide range of fantastic flower shapes and sizes. All have a hinged lip that aids in pollination. Light: plenty of bright, indirect sunlight Watering: soak frequently when mounted Soil: medium orchid blend (water to soak after it dries somewhat) Humidity: preferably 70% or higher Fertilize: use a balanced fertilizer at quarter strength once a week during the summer; this can be reduced to once a month in the winter Varieties and flower color can vary.
