The Kronos DVR is both a video recording system and a lap timer unit. It's the perfect match for your motorsports activities! The 2.5" LCD screen will display your lap timing information in big, bold numbers that are easy to read while you are on the track, while also recording one channel of high resolution video (720x480 pixels). Easily record video files using the highly popular H.264 codec, and playback on your computer or directly on the built-in screen. Review all of your videos with lap timing information directly in the pits, right after your track session. No need for a PC or to download anything, all your data is stored to a memory card (SD type). The Kronos is very easy to use, and has a rechargeable battery pack that will provide up to 3 hours of runtime before it needs recharging. It is stand-alone and does not require hooking up to your vehicle's battery. You can record from any composite video source, such as a bullet camera, which can also be powered off the DVR unit directly, no need for an external power supply! The DVR unit contains a microphone to record audio, and you can also hook up an external stereo mic via the connector located on the video cable. You can also plug-in an optional LANC remote controller, to start/stop the unit remotely without having to access the control buttons located on the unit.
