Ocean downwind performance foilboard by Amos Shapes Developed with team rider Zane Westwood, the Bullet V2 is designed for the fast-progressing discipline of downwind foiling. It delivers quicker takeoffs, efficient paddling, and the ability to unlock smaller foils in open-ocean conditions. Updates in V2 include added tail rocker, a stepped tail bottom for clearance in turns, fuller rails for stability, and reduced bottom roll for improved efficiency. The rounded hull, inspired by outriggers and surf skis, reduces drag and stickiness on takeoffs while improving touchdown recovery. A pulled-in tail with exit rocker minimises tail touch and enhances release when pumping. The Bullet paddles fast with minimal drag, getting on foil earlier with less effort. Recommended volume is 20–30L above rider body weight (e.g. 80kg ≈ 110L), with length providing the stability needed to balance the rounded hull and paddle into wind lines.
