Cassandra’s first book Bully was created from the corners of her bedroom; with nothing but untold heartaches, an overactive imagination and an abundance of filled journal entries. Bully went onto debut at number 7 on Amazon’s ‘Best Sellers’ list for 2019 on its first night of release – topping acclaimed writers including Rupi Kaur, Florence Welch and Amanda Lovelace. Bully remains the only New Zealand born poetry book to debut on Amazon’s ‘Best Sellers’ list. Bully became a megaphone for the unheard to tell their story which Cassandra turned into, a sold-out New Zealand tour. Cassandra says, “I consider Bully a love letter to my younger self and everything I wish I had known when I was seventeen.”
