Bumblebee Jasper is mined in Indonesia from the side of a volcano by a company called Indoagate.com. Bumblebee jasper is a mixture of volcanic matter, including anhydrite, sulfur, arsenic, and hematite. The stone's vivid colors come from sulfur and arsenic compounds.
