The Bump is designed to extend the potter’s reach up to 18 inches while working in a hollow form. This gives the leverage needed to bump out, alter, or heal seams in the clay. The Bump's aluminum rod is stiff but can be altered to suit individual needs for throwing or sculpting clay. The sponge end is a dense, chamois-like material with a hard center.
