Forged from 1095/15n20 carbon steel in a random pattern Damascus. High polished finish on the steel for extra contrast. Carbon steel holds a very fine durable edge but will patina and should be dry stored when not in use. The Bunka style blade is great for processing vegetables with a fine tip also for covering most tasks in the kitchen and features a concave “S-grind” to reduce surface area and improve food release.
