Space plants at 6-10" apart and provide support in windy locations. Seed keeping notes Allow the seeds to dry and turn brown/dark purple/black on their stems. They are ready when they easily shatter into a bucket when the spent flowers are squeezed. Use screens and winnowing to remove the chaff from the seeds. Store in a cool, dark place when fully dry.
