The Burg Layer vineyards in the immediate vicinity of the parent estate are characterised by the great diversity of soils that is so special to the Nahe region. The grapes are sele ctively harvested in several stages then gently pressed and stored for six months in the cellar. A fine aroma with apple notes characterises the bouquet. The fruity aromas can also be clearly tasted on the palate. The lively acidity is perfectly balanced by a light, delicately fruity sweetness.
