The Rummy Nose Rasbora Sawbwa resplendens is endemic to the Shan State of eastern Myanmar (Burma), Asia. The only member of its genus, its size and habitat are just a few of its re markable features. This very small fish reaches a total length of not quite an inch (2.5 cm), making it both one of the smallest cyprinids and one of the smallest known vertebrates.
