S.O.U.L.'s 'Burning Spear' was a standout of their debut album, from which it was pulled for a single release. Edited down from the album's rambling brilliance to a concise slice o f dancefloor funkiness, deejays have been searching out the 45 for years - it seems to have sold almost zero, making copies impossible to find. For the B-side we have selected the breakbeat heavy 'Do Whatever You Want To Do' from their second LP, which we feel would be a choice selection for anyone who wants to get a dancefloor moving.
