Produced by John Giorno, James Grauerholz, and Sylvere Lotringer, the three-day event included readings, music performances, panel discussions, and film programming, with appearances by Laurie Anderson, Anne Waldman, Merce Cunningham, John Cage, Ed Sanders, Allen Ginsberg, Timothy Leary, Susan Sontag, Robert Anton Wilson, Phillip Glass, Brion Gysin, Patti Smith, Katheryn Bigelow, et al.
