1-Day Custom Corset Drafting & Construction Masterclass August 29, 2026 Atlanta, Georgia 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Learn the foundation behind professionally fitted couture corsets in this immersive, hands-on masterclass. Designed for aspiring fashion designers, seamstresses, and experienced sewists, this one-day intensive will teach you how to draft a custom corset from your own basic bodice block, build professional internal structure, and sew a fully constructed corset using couture techniques. Throughout the day, you’ll work through the same drafting process used in the Quintin Michael studio. Beginning with accurate measurements, you’ll draft a custom front and back bodice block, transform it into a structured corset pattern, prepare it for construction, and complete the sewing process. Rather than relying on commercial patterns, you’ll learn a drafting method you can customize for future clients and original designs. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a completed custom corset, a repeatable drafting system, and the confidence to create professionally fitted foundation garments for bridal, eveningwear, and couture fashion. Last class before the summer ends.
