part time frustrated. not by life. by how much we forget. we are already genius. already beautiful. already powerful. already enough. and still we wake up every morning trying to prove it to someone who wasn't even asking. i made this series out of the love I have for this generation and out of frustration that we sometimes don't see anything beside the tunnel anymore. these are the questions i ask myself, the ones that once you hear them, you can't unhear them. because they were always yours too. at the end of it all — we just want to be loved. that's it. - but why did we ever think we weren't. this artwork measures 77 x 68,5 cm details hand-painted in ericeira, portugal on raw cotton canvas from caldas da rainha — with soft pastels, acrylics, wax and charcoal sourced in lisbon. the wooden frame is handmade by raphael, a brazilian carpenter living in ericeira. we collected the wood together, chose the colors together, measured everything until it became exactly right. he is adorable. so is his work.each piece is one of a kind and comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed by hand. shipping shipping is not included — we'll figure out the smartest way together. i got you! price on request :)
