For a 1kg bag it would make 2 x 8 inch cakes. 2 × 8-inch cakes, using approximately 820 mL of raw mixture per tin. 1 kg bag makes approximately 1640 mL of raw cake mixture. Once baked and trimmed, each cake layer is approximately 5.5 cm high, creating a finished stacked cake approximately 11 cm high before icing.
