Spreadable butter on the counter, kept fresh by nothing but water. Mrs. Anderson's butter keeper uses a French-style water seal to keep a stick of butter soft and spreadable for up to 30 days, no refrigeration needed. Pack butter into the bell-shaped lid, add water to the base, and set the lid in facing down; the water forms an airtight seal that keeps the butter fresh. No more torn toast from cold, hard butter.
