Butterflies and Hydrangeas is part of my botanical series, where I explore the quiet relationships between light, memory, and the natural world. Using the power of the sun, I direc tly expose flora from my garden to create an organic foundation, an imprint of time and place. From there, I build the surface through layers of encaustic medium infused with ink, pigments, and fragments of my own photographic imagery.
