Back in 2014 I created what I call, SKINNY MINI’S. A Skinny Mini is a design in odd count peyote in which there are fewer than 13 columns in the design. In the case of BUTTERFLIES, there are only 9 columns to work. A lot of fun packed into a small design. The advantage of SKINNY MINI’S is they work up quickly and they are so fun to stack and layer. There are 914 Delica beads used in this design.I used size 15/0 metallic gold seeds and some matte transparent amber seeds for the optional PICOT trim. See instructions further in this pattern for placement.As designed, this pattern measures to be 6 7/8 inches long (without the clasp) by 5/8 inches wide which includes the seed bead trim.Knowledge of odd count peyote is needed for this pattern as no instructions for that stitch are given within.Ready for some "fluttery" fun?
