The Buxton driving bit is a powerful, specialized coaching bit designed for larger driving hitches. Less common than the traditional Liverpool, the Buxton is distinguished by its significantly longer shanks and reinforced lower slobber bar, which helps prevent reins from becoming caught when driving multiple horses. Crafted from hand-polished, high-quality stainless steel, this bit offers durability, strength, and a clean, professional finish. The long cheeks are joined at the bottom for added stability, while multiple rein slots allow the driver to adjust leverage and intensity based on the horse and driving situation. Similar in concept to a Liverpool driving bit, the Buxton provides stronger leverage due to its extended shanks. It can be used in different orientations depending on the level of control required, making it a versatile, yet inherently strong option best suited for experienced drivers. - Brand: Unbranded- Size: 6.5”- Quantity Available: 2- Condition: Good, Pre-Owned Condition.
