Buzz-Off Natural Bug Spray Gentle on YOU but Tough on Bugs 🦟 🦟 🦟 Who knows better than plants when it comes to fighting off insect marauders? If we're smart, we'll harness the tools that the plants have been perfecting for millennia. That's what I have attempted to do with this product! This is a natural bug spray that actually works - with an organic blend of essential oils that helps repel insects naturally. It smells pretty nice - unless you're a bug, and then it smells downright nasty! No DEET. No harsh chemicals or petroleum products. Just plant compounds in a special combination that bugs will mostly hate. It comes in a 4-ounce glass bottle with a sprayer attached. ✻ Just shake vigorously & spray! ✻ I have added a natural dispersing agent but it is still best to shake it well before each use. For optimal results, apply every 1-2 hours, although you will find that protection likely lasts longer. Safe to spray on skin and hair. How Buzz-Off Was Formulated To come up with this formula, I started with the findings of a 2023 study published in Nature Scientific Reports in which scientists tested the repellent efficacy of 20 different natural plant oils against common mosquito and tick species using an "arm-in-cage assay." When I had a satisfactory blend, I recruited a few friends who spend a lot of time outdoors. One person who is typically found quite tasty by mosquitoes was completely avoided by them when using this spray. Same results for other insects, such as gnats - which were out in abundance. *Please note that many factors can affect the effectiveness of any insect repellent such as individual variations in body chemistry, diet, physical activity, perspiration or water exposure, local climate, weather and numerous other factors. The best way to keep insects away from exposed skin is to wear light-colored long-sleeved shirts, long pants and socks.
