True to the original, which has been introduced by the US Navy in the 1910s and issued to petty officers, this Pea Coat is made of thick high-density 36oz Melton Wool and features the early “13 Stars and Anchor” Urea buttons. Especially the large-sized collar defines its design. Form follows function – the collar helped sailors to cover their faces and protect them of the strong winds at sea.
