Using the LCD screen and two-button interface, users can input local water hardness settings to calculate accurate filter lifespan and replacement timing. The unit continuously tracks the total volume of water filtered and counts down remaining cartridge capacity. When the display reaches zero, the filter should be replaced to maintain optimal water quality and equipment protection.
