After having done years (and continuously) of shadow work, I feel as if I'm in a place where I can see them, the shadows that cause me to close my heart or doubt myself. I've now b efriended them, I can see them when they arise and say goodbye to them, thanking them for keeping me company all of these years. Sometimes we need the shadows to comfort us.
