First paperback edition from 1983 in near fine condition, there is some minor wear to the cover, the previous owner (photographer Nick Hedges) has written his name inside the cover , pages clean, binding firm. Sirkka-Liisa Konttinen lived in the old Byker area of Newcastle for six years, and photographed it for twelve. 'One way or another I had grown to be part of my street, and the community.
