The dual monocular head is somewhat unique, providing two viewing ports which can be used simultaneously. The main viewing port uses a simple design, requiring no adjustment. Simply use the standard 10X eyepiece or any other optional magnification and get to work. The second port is designed for a second user or a camera, and has height adjustment to ensure the focus matches the main port. The head can swivel 360° depending on your preferred working position. The objective turret provides instant access to 3 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 400X. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy. The stage is equipped with two clips for holding slides and other specimens in place. A mechanical caliper is included, which can be attached to the stage to precisely position specimen slides.
