The M620-DK is a specialized monocular compound microscope with brightfield and darkfield illumination, designed for classrooms and laboratory applications. With our specially developed fly-eye lens, the light is evenly distributed at maximum brightness to improve contrast and resolution. Illumination is further enhanced by a centerable Abbe condenser, which can be realigned for any magnification to guarantee proper lighting. The darkfield condenser allows you to render detail in specimens that would otherwise be transparent. Using principles of light-diffraction to suppress field-illumination, the condenser illuminates edges of cells, microorganisms, and other objects. This is particularly useful for live blood analysis. The 0.9 maximum numerical aperture will accommodate lower-magnification objective lenses with numerical apertures up to 0.9.
