Forrest Hibbits This 1940 charcoal and graphite on paper figure is by California artist Forrest Hibbits (1905-1996). Hibbits graduated from the California College of Arts and Craft s. He exhibited at SFMOMA, the de Young Museum, the Oakland Museum of Art, and the Legion of Honor. Hibbits worked as a commercial artist at Patterson & Sullivan, a San Francisco ad agency in the 1920s-1930s. 1940s Charcoal & Graphite on Paper 11"x16.5" unframed Estate stamped lower right.
