Amaranthus cruentus. There is a good deal of variation in this variety. The inflorescences are predominantly red but marbled with green. Some all red and all green inflorescences a s well. The green to pink leaves sometimes have light red veination, sometimes white. Originally collected at Huazulco Pueblo in the state of Morelos, Mexico in 1979. From our Seed Bank Collection.
