Cool, Australian-made vintage lap steel just in! So far what we've been able to uncover is that Moody was an instrument manufacturer in Sydney, and this is example is one of their creations! 1940s is a ball park decade, but it's as good a guess as any! Body shape looks kinda similar to a Supro Comet, but with some noteworthy differences. There's a volume and tone control, but both appear to function as volume. Sounds nice plugged in, definitely a classic old-school single coil tone. This example has had the bobbin replaced and rewound. Includes what appears to be its original case. Show more
